Offshore Installation Engineer (H/F)
Position Context
Reporting to the project manager and interfacing with multiple technical disciplines, the Offshore Installation Engineer works autonomously to perform subsea installation and offshore engineering studies. The role includes active participation during the execution phase at sea.
Key Responsibilities
The services to be performed include (but are not limited to):
- Participate in the dedicated project, providing technical support to both design and methodology teams.
- Conduct installation analyses using Orcaflex software to support the design and validation of offshore operations.
- Contribute to the technical preparation of installation activities.
- Take part in offshore missions during the execution phase, supporting operations teams.
- Collaborate closely with other disciplines to ensure technical and operational consistency throughout the project.
Required Skills and Profile
- Profile: Advanced Technical Engineer with solid experience in engineering or offshore installation analysis.
- Proficient user of Orcaflex for dynamic modeling and analysis.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken), suitable for work in an international environment.
- Valid BOSIET (Opito + CA EBS) certification.
- Valid Medical Fitness Certificate (MFC) required for offshore duties.
- Autonomous, rigorous, and a team player, with the ability to handle multi-project and international environments.
Contract Details
- Contract type: Permanent position or freelance assignment based on experience.
- Location: Engineering office (Île-de-France or project site) with regular offshore missions.
